Terms & Conditions – Joen Packers and Movers
The following terms and conditions apply to all relocation and transportation services provided by Joen Packers and Movers. By booking our services, you agree to the terms mentioned below.
- Society entry/exit charges, parking charges, and lift usage charges (if applicable) must be paid directly by the customer.
- Customers are responsible for obtaining all required permissions from the apartment association, society management, or building authorities before the relocation process.
- Third-party services such as dismantling or fixing air conditioners, washing machines, geysers, electric chimneys, etc., are not included in our standard quotation unless specifically mentioned.
- If Joen Packers and Movers arranges AC installation or removal, additional material costs such as drilling, copper pipes, gas filling, or extra wiring must be paid directly by the customer.
- Please ensure that water is completely drained from storage geysers before packing begins.
- Only empty LPG gas cylinders will be accepted for transportation.
- Live plants and pots will be transported at the customer’s own risk. Joen Packers and Movers is not responsible for any damage during transit.
- The declared value of goods must be clearly mentioned at the time of packing in the inventory list for risk management purposes.
- Damages inside electronic items are not covered under transit risk unless there is clear external physical damage during transportation.
- Please provide transit bolts for front-loading washing machines before packing to prevent internal damage.
- If the destination house is not ready and storage is required in our warehouse, customers must inform us in advance. Additional storage charges will apply.
- The packing materials used during relocation remain the property of Joen Packers and Movers and will be collected after unpacking unless otherwise agreed.
- For two-wheelers, please empty the fuel tank completely before transportation to prevent leakage or spillage.
- For car transportation, a minimum of 10 liters of fuel should be available in the vehicle as carriers may not be allowed inside certain city limits.
- At least 3 days prior notice is required to mobilize resources and confirm relocation scheduling.
- For personal relocation of household goods, GST may not be applicable as per current regulations.
- If there is any increase or decrease in the volume of goods after packing, the service charges will be revised accordingly.
